Ryla almost screamed when Zak burst up behind her, then joined in his laughter. She gave a small twirl in the water, before swimming to the edge, and crawling out. She motioned to the water as if to say, "Don't mind me, don't let me spoil your fun." She shook the water from her coat and shifted to a human. "I'm resting," she explained. "I've been running around all day!" Sh lay down on the grass below a tree and smiled as a leave fell down from the tree and landed on her nose. She blew it off her and watched in almost awe as it flew away and landed on the ground next to her.

She lay back down and looked up at the sky, one of her favourite hobbies, though most people found it extremely boring. She squinted slightly, as it was hard to see from the suns light. She glanced over at Zak, and when he wasn't looking, quickly and quietly scampered up the tree. Mabe he'll think I have super speed, and I ran back to the Pack House! she thought excitedly.
