Kusa Inn

Mizuki cautiously peered inside the door before entering. Luckily, there was no one there except the inn keeper, and she was just an old lady. The Pomeranian then tip-toed over to the counter. What damage could an elderly human possibly do? Besides, old women loved small fluffy dogs, right?
"Excuse me," Mizuki murmured.

The old lady glared down at Mizuki.
"Ugh, what are you doing here? No dogs allowed."

Mizuki looked around the room.
"But there wasn't any sign that said so," She defended sheepishly.

The inn keeper rolled her eyes.
"What do you want?"

"Well, you see, I just became a Canine Warrior!" Mizuki wagged, showing off her bandana.
"And my teammates and I are about to embark on our journey to save Nippon,
so I was hoping I could grab a small breakfast here before we leave."

"Are you kidding me? The food here is for our guests only. Now get out."

Mizuki narrowed her eyes at the rude old lady.
"Did you hear what I said?"
How could she reject someone who was about to save Nippon?

"Yea. Did you hear what I said?"

"Yes, but I don't see how it is much of a problem if- Hey! Put me down!"
Mizuki squirmed desperately as the old lady grabbed her by the scruff and headed towards the door.
"I'm a Canine Warrior!" She howled in vein before being tossed out.

The Pomeranian quickly stood back up and spat out some dirt before the door was shut in her face.
"Well I never!" She gasped, fixing her orb in place.
She turned away with her nose high in the air, off to rejoin the others.

On her way back however, she couldn't help but notice the Pitbull she had met earlier. He was carrying a small, white puppy on his back, and even Mizuki couldn't help but squeal at its cuteness. Her paws began making their way over to them, but Mizuki stopped herself.

What would she say? She could show Nobu her bandana and orb, but she didn't want to rub it in his face. Was that chihuahua the reason why he decided to leave perhaps? Maybe it was someone important to him that he didn't want to leave behind. The Pomeranian sighed and continued steering away from them.

"You don't know me, so you have no reason to waste your time following me."
His words echoed in her mind until, finally, she reached the others.

"Finish eating already?" Take asked with false innocence.

"No, the inn keeper kicked me out," Mizuki whimpered.
"I guess I'll just get bones like the rest of you."
