"Oh yeah? Okay then..." Aspen was a little unsure now, hoping this wasn't anything too severe. Sure, she loved the fact that people trusted her but no one had ever faced her with a situation that was extremely overwhelming. She wasn't sure how it would feel to know about something but at the same time know she couldn't do anything about it, it probably felt pretty awful. She'd just have to do whatever she could and do her best.
Her attention shifted away for just a second as she watched Zack get up and leave without a word. It was kinda weird how him and Jessa were pretty much avoiding each other. She looked at Jessa carefully to see her reaction to him leaving, but her expression was blank and hard to see through, like she had built up a wall or something.
"Well, we could stay here to talk I guess." She looked at Skyler who was still appeared to be deep in thought and completely preoccupied, "Or we could go into the yard." Aspen felt kinda bad about leaving Skyler when there was obviously something wrong with him as well, but Jessa was needing someone to talk to and actually willing to admit it. Aspen could hear her out first, then assuming that the news wasn't too extreme, go back soon enough and maybe get Skyler to talk to her. She mentally wished herself luck with that one, in a sarcastic way.
