"Of course, come right in, we've been expecting you." a tall man said, suddenly appearing at the gate and making Zabrina jump. "Allow me to take your coat for you M'Lady." Zee almost laughed aloud at being called lady, since she had never encountered somebody this polite. No, back in her old town nobody was really fussed about manners.
"Why thank-you!" she said in her politest voice, while handing the man her coat and one of her bags. "And your name is..?" Dragging her portable turquoise suitcase behind her, Zabrina wandered up the lane towards Konoe Mansion. Once she stepped inside, she gazed around in awe. "Oh my lord..." she whispered softly, "..this place is beautiful!" Seeing the plush leather seats arranged neatly in this waiting room, she happily sat down on one.
You know, I could actually enjoy myself here! she thought to herself, smiling peacefully and continuing to inspect the place.
