Shizuma sat motionless for a long moment, pondering the words that Riddick had spoken. She then stood up, and, without saying a word, walked several yards away from her company. She stopped in front of a tall, yet thin, tree. She took the spear from her back. She muttered a few ancient words, before she moved like a flash of lightning. She ran a ways up one tree, then jumped to an adjacent one, using her momentum to go higher. She jumped back to the tree she had initially stood before, swinging her spear and cleanly cutting down the top of the tree. Roughly three feet of solid, leafless wood fell to the ground. Shizuma landed beside it shortly afterward, using her spear head to quickly break apart the wood for a fire. She put her spear back where it belonged before gathering her logs and returning to her place by the rock.

"You cannot be certain." She said to Riddick, as if she had not gone anywhere. "The logic of this realm is rarely what it seems. Even the darkest of curses become gifts when time calls for it."
