His eyes that were dull and lifeless a moment ago seemed to get a gleam back into them. His idea of death hopefully had disappeared. While they were still the only sound their breathing Pearlie noticed that he was blushing and that a small trickle of blood ran down from his nose.
"I... believe you can get up now."
Embarrassed Pearlie sat up quickly and moved a small distance away.
"I'm sorry. I hope I didn't push you too hard. I just got scared." She was wringing her hands as she spoke, nervous of what he would say.
She looked away as he wiped the blood from his nose. As she looked around she saw how the orange hair girl was disappearing into the crowed, Vivian must have seen it too because she took off after her. Reluctant to let Vivian out of her sight Pearlie quickly stood up. She offered her hand to Zenith hoping that he would take it as a sign of apology and that they could be friends. They had to hurry though before Vivian and the orange haired girl whose name she thought she heard as Naoki got too far away.
