Pearlie was relieved as Zenith took her hand and as they stood up he asked her a question,
"Well.. uh... I couldn't bear the thought of someone who looked so," she searched for the right word, "desolate throw their life away. I can understand why you were so angry with what I said."
She glanced nervously away before she continued,
"I didn't know. I'm sorry. I want to make it up to you and if you died it would have been my fault."
Thankfully Vivian approached and she saw him sign something at her. She was frustrated with herself that she couldn't understand what they were saying to each other. She had seen Vivian chase after the orange hair girl and wandered what had happened. She hoped that what had happened had scared her off. There was something about how Zenith had been protective of her that made Pearlie feel that all four of them were meant to stick together.
