Namie froze. "...I was sent to kill Sekruez..." Had she heard right? Then again, how could she mishear her own last name? She took in the scene. Rose and Thunder were engaged in combat with an armed man. The dude looked seriously psycho. She shivered. She was not in the mood for psychos.
A thought occured to her. If he was after me in the first place, maybe I can lead him away... She didn't allow herself time to consider all the things that could possible go wrong. Namie sized up the guy. His back was to her. Goodie. She swiftly hauled herself up into a tree. Standing up on a sturdy branch, she called out to the assailant. "'Ay!" she yelled. "Namie Sekruez is right here and ready to beat yer ass, ya damn psycho!"
