Hevra listened to the woman, Sanae, talk about how she and her sister were attacked and forced to flee from where they lived. Though he did not know the meaning of the term “monks” he did remember the feeling he had when his home had been burned, his family killed, and he had been taken to fight for the people who did it to him. He long gotten over that feeling, but he remembered it. He also noted from her demeanor that the woman still dwelt on what happened to her and her sister. Hevra felt something at that realization, but hadn't felt it before so he didn’t know how to respond. So he ignored it.

Then he watched Sanae sit more food in front of him and refill his glass. He quickly scooped the food into his mouth, ignoring the burning sensation that came with it’s temperature. Then he took a few large gulps of the lemonade. “What are monks?” He ask absentmindedly as he sat the not quite empty glass back down.
