Kai's eyes cracked open and looked up at the alarm clock glued to the ceiling. 5:19? Time to get up. Fudge. She pulled her arm from under her blanket and flopped it onto the small table right by her bed. She felt around until her hand felt and grabbed the remote that was on the table. She slowly lifted her arm and pointed the remote at the alarm clock, clicking the 'Alarm Off' button. She then dropped it, letting it hit and bounce on the bed. She then slid out of bed, her eyes still mostly closed as she walked to her small dresser. She pulled an from the top drawer before stepping out into the hall. She shivered a bit from the sudden cold, but walked like a zombie to a bathroom. She took a quick shower and then dressed, finding it to be 5:27 when she was done with her bathroom routine. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair before rustling it up to it's usual style.

Once she made sure her single hair was normal and in it's usual stick out curl, she walked down the hall towards the roof. After getting up to it, she looked around. She was mostly awake at this point in time and walked to the railing, sitting down on the edge with her hands holding the rail. She watched with annoyance as the sun came up. She let go of the railing with one hand and waved, yelling at the sun. "Turn your chariot back, Apollo! Go back to the other side of Earth! I don't want another morning!" She laughed to herself and grabbed back onto the rail with a sigh, hoping it was a good day at least.
