Sterling sat up, dull gray eyes looking to his alarm clock. 5:20 Reaching over, he shut it off with a simple click. He always woke up before the damned thing, why even keep it on? Swinging his legs over the side of the bed, he stood, shivering lightly at the coolness of his wooden floor.

"It's too damn early for this..." He grumbled, trying to rub the sleep from his eyes as he sauntered over to the rather large terrarium at the side of his room. "Tarot... Wake up, breakfast time." At the command, a small black turtle made its way from a small cave tucked in the corner. Smiling, Sterling reached into a box and produced a few worms, crickets and a cup of turtle-chow. Once everything was in its place, he let his pet eat before turning to get dressed. Pulling on a pair of blue skinny jeans, a white button up shirt, a pair of ice-blue converse and a white ballpark cap, he checked himself in the mirror. Adorning himself with various chains and necklaces, he nodded in approval.

Turning toward the window, he smiled. Everything was drenched. Just how he liked it. Grabbing his hoodie off a chair, he turned on Animal Planet for his turtle and made his way out the door. He wouldn't need breakfast, he never really ate anyway. Locking the door behind him, he stuffed the keys in his pocket before putting his ear buds in and made his way from the apartment out into the city.
