Kai sighed and waved to Drake as he left, her way of saying 'good' morning. She then stood and turned to the entrance of the building, going down the stairs that led to and from the roof. She walked into the kitchen, opening the fridge and starting her hunt for food. After about five minutes, she finally pulled out a package of bacon and a few eggs so that she could make breakfast for herself. She pulled out the rest of the utensils she would need and set them up so she could cook as quickly as possible. She wanted to be out of the house before anyone asked her took cook.

Kai heard the front door open and close and smiled. "Bet that's Sterling." She quickly made her breakfast in about seven minutes, taking more time than usual because she knew that everyone was already gone. After eating her breakfast, she placed the dishes in the sink and went to her room. She pulled her house keys from her dresser and walked out to the door, sighing when she saw it was already locked. She unlocked it, stepped out, then locked the door again. She then stuffed her hands in the pockets of her hoodie and walked towards the park.
