Oscar noticed that Lupe was anxious about someone seeing them together.
"Don't worry about preps or any greasers." Oscar said trying to calm Lupe. "In retrospect, I think protecting Mooi will keep the Greasers and preps busy long enough for us to go to the parking lot and bicycle out of here to a nice little place to grab a bite." Oscar also noticed her giggling and he knew this was one of the reasons he liked her. Sometimes he thought maybe he took this clique scene too seriously, but then again it was in the Bullworth spirit to be proud of your clique. He also primarily needed approval from his peers, father and Derby and for that he had to take the clique gig serious enough to one day take over control of it. Right now however with the clique world out of the picture, he did find the idea of leaving it all behind tempting. Walking with Lupe to the parking lot, he got on his Aquaberry cruiser and turned to Lupe.
"Want to race to Shea Lewis Cafe to work up an appetite? I'll ride extra slow to give you a chance to win." Oscar teased. Not that he cared much about racing right now, he did see the urgency in leaving campus grounds before the wrong peers saw them together.
"Sorry to make you pedal to Old Bullworth Vale," Oscar added. "But their coffee is absolutely exquisite."
