Ginger was more into the music playing, and barely paid attention when a man walked up and ordered a scotch. However that quickly changed when she caught a glimpse of him slipping a hundred dollar bill into the shirt pocket of the young bartender.

"Hmm, someone has big money...." she thought to herself, as she sipped her drink.

"See this lady beside me? You make sure she gets her fill of what she wants to drink, put it on my tab Jimmy Massera, and I'll make sure you get more tips like that. Capiche?"

Ginger couldn't help but grin as the man told the bartender he'd being paying for the rest of her drinks, but behind the grin, she started to wonder; "Massera, where have i heard that name before!?"
Sadly she couldn't place it, even after the man behind the counter yelled out "Jimmy the Saint" with glee - something she hoped she'd remember to google later.

"Good evening miss. I eh, know this is going to sound like a line and all but.... is this seat taken?" said the man Ginger now knew as Johnny, after he took a seat beside her.
Ginger smiled, and responded with; "Not that i know of....", before ordering another drink, and then crossing her legs and turning slightly in her chair to face him better.

"I'm Ginger." she said, as she held out her hand. "Massera sounds a bit familiar, you wouldn't happen to be famous would you?" she joked, while in the back of her head seriously considering the notion.

Jimmy wouldn't be able to answer or shake her hand though, before Ginger noticed her sisters and company speed walking towards her.

"What's up?" she called out to them.
"Come on, we've gotta go!" said Jenna, as she walked up to her - giving Jimmy a simple nod of acknowledgment, before looking back down at her sister
"Why!?"
"I'll tell you in the car, now come on!"
Her sister didn't give her much of a chance to protest, as she grabbed her by the arm and pulled her out of her seat.
Ginger resisted her tug long enough though to turn towards Jimmy and tell him; "Sorry. I appreciate the drink though."........before being pulled out the Lounges front doors.

"What the HELL was that all about!!" Ginger yelled, after being shoved into the limousine.
"Look, i'm sorry for ruining your little date, but-" Jenna was cut off.
"-It wasn't a date, i didn't even know the guy! Hell, i couldn't get a word out of him before you went psycho on me!"
"Whatever Ginger, like i was saying.....i'm sorry, but someone started taking pictures on their phone, and i figured it was better we leave, asap, ya know?"
Ginger sighed, and crossed her arms under her bust. "Yeah yeah......well did they get anything good?" she joked, but her face suddenly grew more serious when she noticed her sisters staring at each other, and then Kyle & Mark, rather guiltily.
"Oh gees, what happened?"
"It was nothing...."
"My ass it was nothing. But fine, don't tell me, and see if i tell you something the next time you ask!"

The group was silent for the next half hour, until the car pulled into Gracie Mansion - the official resident of the Mayor....but seeing as how Bloomberg never stayed in the house, it had been the Cagglianos residence for the last several years.

"Just so you know, all they got was a shot of me and Mark dancing." Maria suddenly muttered out of the blue.....and within seconds, Ginger began to snicker.
"Seriously!? THAT'S why you ruined my evening? What bullshit......there's no harm in you two dancing!"
"I'm married."
"Yeah, and he's gayer than Ru Paul!"
Mark and Kyle burst out into laughter, and Jenna grinned from ear to ear.......but Maria remained damn near stoned-face..
"Well i'm glad you four find this so funny, but i'm sure that damn photo doesn't come with a caption "HE'S JUST MY GAY FRIEND!" So if you excuse me, i need to go find my husband and explain things now, before some news report does!"

Maria hopped out of the now stationary car, and jogged inside the house.
Only family could stay at the mansion, by law, so Ginger would step out and follow Maria inside, while Jenna stayed behind to say goodbye to her fiance - who would be driven back to his brownstone.

Once arriving in her room, Ginger quickly stripped out of her clothing and into a pair of grey bikini-styled bottoms - which were barely covered up by a matching tank.

Within only a minute or two of her head hitting her pillows, Ginger was out.

**--------------------------------*--------------------------------**

Several hours later, Ginger was awoken by loud voices down the hall. The clock beside her bed read 8:05am, so it was more likely than not, that the voices were from family members, and not staff workers - who usually arrive after nine. Which is why after a few minutes of complaining under her breath, Ginger slipped out from underneath her covers, and made her way down the hall barefoot.

"Whose bright idea was it to even go in there Ria!??" she heard Mateo - Marias husband - complain out loud, as Antonio, and Maria stood beside him in front of the living rooms flat-screen TV.

"We just wanted to have a couple of drinks, nothing more." her sister said.

"Well now when i go to this town hall later, this is all they're gonna wanna know about." Antonio complained.
The Governors face was tight and anxious....until he noticed his youngest girl slowly make her way towards them.
"Ginger, sweety," he said softly, with a small smile on his face. "You're up early."
"Oh please, i'm always up early." she said a bit groggily, before crossing her arms over her chest - to help cover the fact she wasn't wearing a bra.

"For the record Mateo, it was my idea to-"
Ginger stopped in the middle of her sentence, when she looked at the television and noticed that the cast of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" was jokingly discussing a rather intimate-looking photograph of Maria being "dipped" by Mark.

"Are you serious? Gees, anything makes news now a days." she muttered, before falling down on the couch.

"This was your idea Ginger!?" Mateo snapped. "Nice going!"

"Hey! Watch your fucking tone!" Antonio yelled. Maria quickly stepped in-between her husband and her father, before Ginger spoke out.

"Daddy calm down, it's fine."
"No it's not!"

Luckily situation was defused a bit when Antonios phone rang, and he had to step away from the group.

"Look i'm sorry, but that really wasn't a bright idea Ging. Don't you know who goes in there? It's not just young party animals, or big names from the village.....mobsters, high class call girls and their pimps, they all go into that-"
Ginger stood up and cut Mateo off.
"You just forgot the lions, tigers, and bears.....oh my!"
"I'm not joking."

"I can tell." she muttered back, before a small smile appeared on her face. "I'm sorry too. I just wanted to do something different, and have a little fun with my sisters....ya know? And politicians ARE regulars at Spinellis, thank you very much."

Mateo smiled in return. "I know, but not the ones who are running in a tough reelection like your father. And anyways, there are always other places you can go to have fun. Like the Polish Tea Room, or Kimmies."

Ginger would nod her head as if she agreed, but in reality she was rather bored of the posh elitist hangouts Mateo had mentioned.
"Well i'm gonna go shower.......you and Jenna just make sure you're ready to leave in two hours!" she'd say to her older sister, before turning and making her way back down the hall, and towards her room.

Once the door was shut - and locked - she'd lazily take off her sleepwear, and meander into the bathroom......where she'd let the shower run for nearly five minutes, before getting in.

**--------------------------------*--------------------------------**

Only three hours later, and the girls were set up in Times Square for an event that would be covered by multiple local and national stations - some, like CSPAN, shooting live, while most others were simply recording for later broadcasts.

It was 10:30 in the morning, and abnormally hot for a Saturday in May. So Ginger was dressed in a pair of white hipster shorts, along with the same red "GOTV" t-shirt she had worn on Greta's "On The Record" the previous night.

For the next two hours the three girls, and the thirty or so 18-22 year old volunteers, would go up to random people around the area and ask if they were registered. A lot were tourist, but a lot were also locals......and by the end of the event they were able to register, or re-register, nearly 212 people.

"Ginger! Ginger, Hi, i'm Tina Mercury from Eyewitness News. We'll be live in 30 seconds, can we talk to you?" a woman asked, as the event winded down.
"Sure....as long as it's solely about the GOTV drive."
"Yes, no problem!"

Tina was true to her word, and the two would spend five minutes going over the results of the drive - not her sisters picture with Mark.
Ginger would also manage to get out her fathers campaign website, before the interview ended.

It was 12:47pm, and the girls were starving.......but they'd slave away in the sun for over an hour to clean up the area they had occupied in Time Square, before piling into their cars and heading back home.

Once at Gracie Mansion, it took only thirty minutes or so before Ginger - who had changed intoa white summer dress, with matching 4-inch heels - was bored. And even though her family wanted to stay in for the rest of the day to avoid the media, Ginger wanted to breath.......so when everyone else seem preoccupied, the clever young woman slipped on a pair of large designer sunglasses, tied her hair up in a messy bun, and then found an off duty driver - who she talked into driving one of the limousine out and around the block, as a cover for her departure.

Luckily, their little plan seemed to work.......since after the car pulled out and around the block, Ginger could spot the few reporters across the way from the mansion hail taxis to follow behind it - giving her the perfect opportunity to run out and hail a taxi of her own.

Once in the backseat, she'd tell the driver to take her to the Theatre District.

**--------------------------------*--------------------------------**

"Thanks" Ginger said to the driver, as she pulled a fifty out of her large plaid purse and told the man to keep the change.

As she stepped onto the side walk, she was directly in front of Spinellis.
She wanted to go inside.......order a drink, and have a little lunch. But instead, she simply stared inside the window for a minute, before turning around back towards the street.
She now had to sit and wait for traffic to be stopped up the road, so she could cross the street and head into "Kimmies" for something to eat.

"I swear i hate that place....." she whispered to herself, as she stared at the "Kimmies" sign across the street.
Half of her hoped the traffic never came to a stop......so she'd have a legitimate reason to wander into Spinellis, instead of Kimmies.
