Dwayne slowly jogs to the huddle, his quarterback calls a running play so there really isn't much for him to do other than block for the HB, after deciding on that play the team yell out "Break" and each walk to their positions, Dwayne looks around and examine the defense, trying to see what they're going to do, he hear the quarterback yelling "Set!", Dwayne adjusts his stance, he needs to come out strong in order to effectively block, the first "Hut!" was yelled, he can see some of the defense flinch, almost right after the QB yells out the second "Hut", the defense seems to be more at ease, knowing it's another fake, but right after the QB yells out the third, and Dwayne blasted off to Mike, trying block him from reaching the HB running to his side, after seeing that the HB passed the him, he lowers his guard a little, and finally the HB was tackled after running 8 yards.
During the huddle the QB calls a passing play, Dwayne smiles because it's something he can actually be of use on, as usual he sees Mike in front of him, He seems excited, the QB yells out "Set!" and almost immediately "Hut!", Dwayne starts to run, following his route to the outside, he managed to get open against Mike so he raises his hand to call for the ball, the QB notice him and throws a high pass at his direction, he jumps to catch the ball but then sees Mike's number '45' in front of him, "Oh shit..." he whispers to himself, but fortunately the pass was to high for Mike to intercept, and the ball rests safely in Dwayne's hands, he starts to run towards the endzone, thinking he's in the clear, but then he feels the weight of two defenders forcing him hard to the ground, almost smashing him to it, he barely held on to the ball with the only thing keeping him to it is his thought about the coach's anger if he drops it, he really feels that heavy hit, keeping him to the ground for a while, he lays there, looking up at the sky when suddenly a hand waves in front of his facemask, "Hey hey, you still alive?" he heard in a familiar voice, he looks to the side and sees Mike and the safety standing beside him, "Just fine" he says with a heavy breath, Mike extends his hand to help Dwayne up, he takes Mike's hand and stand up, continuing with the practice.
