"Chester...I mean are you sure you want to go out...we don't have to go just because I wanted to." Brooke said placing her hand on his thigh, feeling that was her right as his girlfriend not knowing of the internal battle that was striking him.
Brooke had been seeing Chester for about 3 weeks and felt the restraint in his emotions with her...with himself even. How he there was something that was always holding him back. She was determined to find out what was and free him from it.
She sighed looked out the window of the moving car, "I was just saying that because you always seemed so tense that maybe we should go have some fun." Brooke said with a smile. "I don't like seeing people like this...I mean sometime you just seem to be going through the motions of life." She said as they pulled into the lot of the bar.
Brooke looked at him as he put the car in park, turning his head towards her gently with her hand. "Look, I care about you a lot Chester despite the fact that we just met... Please just try to have fun for me." She said giving him a sweet smile. "I love seeing your smile...I just wish you showed it off more."
