Zhane pulled along his lightly-packed travel case and walked at a brief, controlled pace towards Mystere Academy. His eyes roamed around, giving everything a glance to let him know what was going on. A man with a sour face walked by him. Judging from the eyebags and sullen look, and his body posture, as well as the fact that he was holding a bottle of beer in his hands and there was a ring around his ring finger, this man might have had an argument with his wife, or was currently having household problems. Zhane switched his focus onto a young man who was jogging. The man unclasped his hands and reached out for the bottle tied around his waist. With his sharp eyes, Zhane noticed calluses around the palms and in between the skin of the thumb and index fingers. No doubt, a badminton or tennis player. Everywhere he looked, he noted several things out. It was like his second nature to do so.

He stopped at the gates, staring at the old guard. Before he could say anything, Zhane flipped out his papers and held them out for the guard to read.The guard nodded and opened the gates. Zhane gave the guard a nod and walked past the gates.

"Haven't seen you around.New eh?" the guard spoke up. Zhane tilted his head to the question, he couldn't really hear properly. The guard repeated the question again, a little louder.

"Yes, sir. I just enrolled recently." he replied, before walking off to prevent more questions from being asked. He hated when he had to strain to listen. He took a look at his papers.

"Room...107..." he read out in a monotone voice. He proceeded to the boy's dorm and searched for his room. Once he found it, he pulled out the key and unlocked the door. He walked in and scanned his room with his usual sharp, calculating eyes. If he was pleased, he didn't show it. He walked over to the cabinet and left his travel case there before pulling up the bed's blanket.

"No dust..." he muttered to himself. "At least they have enough thought to keep the place clean."

He set the blanket back on the bed and sat down on the study table. There was a good view of the academy from his window. At least that was something to be happy about... Maybe.
