Maybe this was a horrible idea, she could go back to the Cirque now, they didn't leave till a bit later...
But she couldn't go back now, no way, no how....
She could still feel the sting on her cheek from when Damien had last slapped her, and the cuts on her arms and legs were itchy as she scratched at them, the water only making it worse. She sighs, lost in thought...
A man tapped her on the shoulder and she jumped, her eyes trailing up towards his smiling face. She stands, noticing he was holding the gold chain she had just thrown and she shakes her head a bit.
What did he want? She stumbles back a bit, tripping over her own feet.
Was he here to bring her back to the Cirque, he wasn't dressed like one of them... And Damien had been passed out... Her breath was shaky and she stared at the man, her hair sticks to her face and she waits a moment to see what he would do.
