The closest she'd been was trying to climb over the fence and seeing the tips of some trees. They'd had a yard in the back, but...She looked down, slowly placing one converse onto the brick porch, then another. Cora smiled to herself out of sheer satisfaction. She'd done it. She'd found her Vampire and 'graduated' from Hannigan Academy. Cora looked up at him, his dark hair blowing slightly from the early summer breeze, as was hers. She put her hand in his, slightly intimidated by everything. She stepped down the stairs and looked around.
"Thank-you, Nicholas Redgrave," she said quietly.
