Daren stopped dead at his front door, looking down at the bag full of blood at his feet. Lara's blood. He lifted it, a new wave of fury taking over him; how dare they?! How dare they take the only person who actually loved him for who he was, not for the romanticized version of what he was, or his status? With a deft slice across the top of the bag, he pulled it open just enough to get a small drink before closing his fist around the opening so the rest wouldn't spill. Do they honestly think this is going to appease me? That such a small bit will replace her? I can make a single bag last a good two to three days if I have to, and that's exactly what I'll-- He forced himself to stop his train of thought; if he did that for too long, he would end up going just as crazy and bloodthirsty as he would in a mere two days if he didn't feed at all. They probably knew that.....He stalked past his parents, snarling that he was officially moving out in a week and to make sure all of his and Lara's belongings were in the small house he had bought, packing a backpack with a few small blood-bags(resting the one containing Lara's at the top of the stack), several pairs of both their clothing stacked up beside it so they wouldn't burst, along with a few other basic items, and stormed out the door. His eyes were dull, almost emotionless as he made his way down the street they called a driveway, and off into the trees. His parents had wondered why he had kept asking for a vehicle of his own, let alone for a motorcycle, but he had kept insisting on it. He hadn't had a reason at the time, he just felt it was a normal thing for a teenager to do, to at some point get his own ride instead of being chauffeured everywhere he went. Until now he had never driven it, save to get his license. Now he had a reason for the bike. With a roar echoing his own rage, he took off down the road, headed back to Hannigan Academy. That's the best place to look first, he thought; even mentally his voice was grim and unfeeling..... he had no idea where to look! With a snarl, he pressed tight against the body of the motorcycle and sped up.
