Brooklyn steps out of the steamy shower and wraps her towel around herself, thinking about what her parents had told her about at dinner. "Oh, by the way, we're sending you away for who knows how long so you can find a boyfriend. Please pass the salt," she muttered to herself as she goes to the sink and start washing her face. She didn't mind all too much, she just wished her parents had told her sooner so she could mentally prepare herself to leave. She brushes her teeth, puts on her pajamas, and goes off to bed.

She wakes up in the morning, able to tell that she was someplace new before she opens her eyes. The bed was much more comfy than her one back at home. She opens her eyes and sits up, looking around the room. It was pretty and all, but she can't help but feel the anxiety creeping up to her. What is she still can't find any friends, even in a place that exists solely for the purpose of getting to know people. She notices the letter on her bedside table, picks it up and reads it.
