Brooklyn got out of bed and pulls the covers back up so they look like they should. She finds her suitcase at the foot of her bed and opens it. She puts all of her things away slowly and methodically. The normal shirts, jeans, and dresses all got hung up. She folds up her skirts and sweat pants and puts them in the bottom drawer of her dresser. Her pajamas go in the middle drawer. Her underwear and such goes in the top. The few books she had with her went into a small bookcase. There weren't very many, and she'd read them all. Hopefully this place would have someone else who liked to read and brought books or a library or something. She changes out of her pajamas and into her normal clothes, putting her pajamas away. After she finishes, she sighs, wondering what to do now. She figures the best thing to do would be to look around a bit, and see if anyone else is out yet. She goes to her door and cracks it open. No one's in the hall. It's now or never, she thinks, as she steps out into the hallway.
