Amai continued walking around until her feet started to hurt. 'Ahh, walking feels nice before you stop...' She stretched her wings a bit and watched the feathers fly. Floating above the ground, Amai spotted Akeno far from her. "Akeno!" She flew over to him and stopped in front of him. "Ah, Akeno, I need to talk to you for a bit." She looked around to see if anyone was close enough to hear them. "Hey, you're getting ready for the war right? If not, you might get left behind.... Well, that's all I needed to talk to you about, but remember to prepare." She flew off, leaving him standing there.

Flying further on, she went into the Grande Hall. "Hello, boys." The two angels, Christian and Kyle, turned around and looked at her. "Oh, hey Amai! What's up?" She looked at Christian with a stern face. A bead of sweat started to form on his forehead and he gulped. "Umm, we haven't done anything wrong! I promise!" She smiled and started laughing. "Hahaha! I'm just messing with you guys. By the way, do you mind calling everyone here? We're all about to have a post-war meeting." Kyle puffed out his chest and pounded his fist on it. "Roger that!" He dashed out, leaving a few feathers floating in the air. "Hey! Wait for me!" Christian quickly followed after him, also leaving a few feathers behind. Amai looked at the feathers and sighed. 'Is it really that time again..?'

Meanwhile, Kaidan sat on the highest branch on the Tree of Life. He looked up towards the stars and thought to himself out loud. "I wonder if we'll beat them..." He sighed and picked an apple from one of the branches. Taking a bite out of it, he let savored the sweet taste of the apple. "Mmm, sweet..." He finished the rest of it, even eating the core. He stood up and jumped down from the tree. Kaidan let himself fall until he spread his wings and stopped himself from crashing through the ground. 'Too close...' He sighed again and looked up once more. "Too far..."
