Almond kept looking from the door behind her to Ciel and the others. If she stayed, she'd further endanger the only people who care about her at the moment, but, if she left, she'd be completely on her own, alone and defenseless. As she thought about the situation more and more, her head began to throb and she heard ringing in her ears. Soon, the ringing grew so intense that that was all she heard. Her head pounded and she began seeing flashes. She eventually doubled over with her head in her hands and tears ran off her cheeks and onto the floor. Then the flashes turned into images. An old man with a staff, a woman with black hair and violet eyes, and a big, black wolf. All of these events occurred in only a moment. Almond stood upright again and looked Ciel in the eyes, tears still spilling over. "I'm broken, alone, and dangerous, but I have nowhere to go. Why me, Ciel, why me?" Then she embraced Ciel and cried.
