Mello awoke to nothingness. A million questions jumbled in his mind at once. He twitched his finger, and a million needles shot up his arm. Where am I?, he asked himself. He didn't move a millimeter, knowing there was more pain to come. He opened his grey eyes slowly, and found that his eyes were stinging. Tears were pouring out of them. Why?, he asked himself. He realized that he was numb from pain.

He tried to look around, but he was staring at the cement wall across from him. He realized that it was splattered in blood. Tilting his head down an inch, but not feeling anything, from numbness, he saw another girl, completely covered in blood. He tilted his head down a little bit further, but was suddenly blinded by pain. So much pain. Too much...

He gasped suddenly, the pain was over for the time being. Breathing hurt. He tried to remember what happened last. But all he could feel was nothing, he didn't remember anything. He didn't even remember his own name...
