Upon hearing Tommy cry out, Elizaveta held up her own knife in defense, although she was not near to Elena and Adrian was closest to the woman, she would not take any chances. Seeing that Tommy was a young boy eased her nerves a slight bit, but he had knives, and she would not let her guard down despite the youthful visage before her.
Elizaveta wanted to reply 'Take her' but didn't know if she would have said it correctly in English and didn't want to look down into her phrase book, and risk taking her eyes off of The Firstcomer.
She stood cautiously awaiting a move from anyone in the group and wondering why this boy felt so threatened in the first place, it wasn't as if anyone had laid a hand on the girl.
And even if they had the child had to know that their small group felt more threatened by the people already residing in Glenshire than they might have felt towards the newcomers.
