Atryom Bravinski

Upon receiving his answer, Atryom bowed once more. "Thank you, Teacher." He responded, then turned away. He jogged back to where he had left Darius, only to find him gone. He sighed inwardly. I guess it was only to be expected. He's always running off by himself. Now, to find out where he went. Looking around, he saw the 'golden boy' talking intently to a girl with glasses. He didn't pay them any mind, continuing to look around. He couldn't see Darius anywhere. Maybe he went to check out his room? His fox-ears twitching nervously, he made his way inside the dorms.

He stopped dead at room 201, looking up at the bloody mural painted around the door. His fox-tails and ears hung limp as he gazed upon it, losing himself in memories.

"Go. Go, Saphina! Take Atryom and run! Go to the Grimlockes; I'll hold them here!" A deep, guttural voice sounded desperate, as if it was all he could take to sound coherent.

"Raenald!" A female's voice responded, ragged with emotion and pain. She turned to Atryom, a small child at the time, and picked him up in her arms. Then, she began to run as fast as she could.

"Kitsune's Final Gate: Seal RELEASE!" A brutal warcry resounded through the air as the screams of Hunters filled the night. As his mother ran, Atryom could see blood flying everywhere, blue flames reaching towards the sky, and most importantly, his father fighting with all of his might to help them get away. They ran and ran, hiding themselves until they finally reached Grimlocke Manor.

Frantically, Atryom's mother banged on the door, unrelenting until someone opened the door. There stood Tobias Grimlocke Sr. in all his demon glory. However, his facial expression turned to surprise as soon as he saw Saphina practically crawling at the door with her only son, mortally wounded and bleeding to death. It was a miracle she had made it there at all.

"Please, take him....the last...of our kind....my son...." Her final words were whispered, almost unable to be heard. However, to Atryom, these words fell on deaf ears. All he could do was stare at the massive amount of blood spilling out of her, even with just the short time she was at the door. It was so bright, a shining red pool of his mother's life. It surrounded him, coating him in it, until all he could see was red. As his mother's last breath flowed out of her body, he knew that she was gone, too.

Atryom's hand clenched into a fist, trembling just the slightest bit. The Hunters will arrive, and now this...are the BLOODS in league with Hunters? If so....does that mean that this mural means to openly target the people of this room? Without realizing it, he had begun to growl under his breath, his canines starting to elongate into fangs. Not again....I won't lose anyone again!

"Atryom."

Darius Grimlocke

Darius got bored of waiting. He sometimes hated sitting still. Or rather, standing. He decided to go sneak back in to the Video Game Club's clubroom. However, there were already people there, so he abandoned it and decided to go to his room. If he was lucky, he'd be the first one there and get to choose which side of the room he gets.

He was surprised to see Atryom standing there, staring at the bloody mural painted on the walls and growling under his breath. His eyes were open wide and glowing a bit, as if he wasn't really seeing the wall but something entirely different. His fists were clenched so tightly that droplets of blood were actually dropping to the floor. However, Darius wasn't truly concerned until he saw the red marks starting to appear on the the backs of his hands and on his face. A bit of blue flame wandered around Atryom's hands, not completely formed but also visible.

Darius didn't waste any time. He quickly dashed forward in front of Atryom, grabbing him by the shoulders and looking at him straight in the eyes.

"Atryom." He said, not being able to help the thick layer of concern laced in his firm voice. Atryom jumped, startled. The red markings suddenly went away, the blue flame dissipating into nothingness. "Atryom!" Darius's eyes widened in surprise as he caught Atryom in his arms. Atryom was breathing heavily, obviously tired.

"I did it again, didn't I?"

"You idiot..." Darius breathed, gently lowering Atryom onto the floor to sit against a mostly untouched part of the wall. Darius stood over him, scowling. "You can't just let yourself get carried away. You'll release your seal on accident, and then where will you be?"
