He took a step away from Hazel and retrieved the candle from the case which now had small pools of cool wax on the glass surface. The pain and disgust was easy to read of Hazel's distraught face, but tears no longer streamed down her porcelain like cheeks. "Right, Hazel if you don't mind I would like to look in here first," he gestured the candle towards the door-less room to his left. Alan avoided any sort of eye contact with Hazel hoping it would lower the chance of her talking, but alas it didn't.
