"I'd be delighted. At least I can stand you." Adelio said with a smile. Vashti sat down on the comfortable chair and pulled herself in close to the table. He then went on about how those around the room were all jealous of him, of his hair and his face. "They are all obviously in doubt of themselves, don't you think, Noble?" he turned to her, and she tilted her head. Noble? Did he mean her? Before she could reply a chef set a large plate in front of her, and the man she had seen earlier at the front door began to speak.

"Alright! Before you begin eating, I'd like to say that, I, of course, am Mr. Sophia, the owner of Cata Sophia Mental Home. Now, I want every single one of you to feel comfortable here, make yourselves at home and don't be afraid to ask any questions! After we feast, we will begin with introductions and go from there! Understood? Great, dig in!"

Vashti lifted up her cutlery and poked the food on the plate. This could have drugs in it, she thought immediately, before mentally shaking herself. Wow, maybe she really should be here if she began to act so paranoid. She looked down at the plate and was surprised to find her favourite meal. Not allowing herself to question this, she slowly began to eat in little bites, eyes still looking around the room.
After swallowing her first bite she glanced over at Mr. Sophia, “If I’m supposed to make myself at home, does that mean I can leave any time I want like I can at home?” she asked him.
