Kristina squeezed Danny's hand back when he squeezed hers. She hadn't noticed they were still holding hands. Oh well, she didn't mind.
"Him," the little girl said.
Kristina glanced up at Danny apologetically. She knew he didn't like him. They can make the visit short, if he really turned out to be as bad as he seemed. Sammie whispered something to Danny, but she didn't catch what it was. "Come on," she said to him, once Sammie finished. "We're going to say hi the the guy who says he's a prince," she starts walking over to him, still holding Danny's hand.
As they walked, Kristina wondered whether they looked like boyfriend and girlfriend to anyone who was looking. They probably did, considering they were holding hands and hadn't left each others sides since she came in. She liked that, for some reason. She didn't know why, considering she just met the guy maybe two hours ago, but she did.
