Alyce paced over to the side of the tent, singing to herself in an attempt to distract her mind. It wasn't as if she cared what Lyca did...he was his own person, so he could be whatever size...shape...AGE that he wanted to. Right? Still, it bothered her. Was he really a kid who could turn into an adult? Or an adult who could turn into a kid? She felt so completely confused, and that aggravated her. She hated being confused. It made her feel stupid. To combat the negative feeling, she began to silently climb the trapeze posts, and situated herself high above the mass of people. Being tall was something she had always wanted, so being up higher than everyone was very nice.
She allowed herself to sing a bit louder as she gazed at everyone from up above, rolling onto her stomach and kicking her feet absent-mindedly. Up here, next to no one could bother her, least of all her brother, so she frequented this spot whenever he was being a pain...so, always. With a sigh, she rested her head on her arms, her hair dangling from the edge of the platform, a purple-black curtain that stirred in the slight breeze that creeped its way into the tent.
