Sitting in the silence of his room, a figure sat in the corner of an empty room curled in a ball. With a book in his hand and an Oreo cookie between his lips, Caleb takes a deep breath in. Outside his room is just as quiet as it is inside, he can't tell weather he was alone or Matt--his room and best mate--was sleeping in his own room. He will never get use to the silence; unlike home he could still hear his father working int he kitchen, his twin siblings arguing over a toy. At least he was able to share an apartment with his best friend, better than being alone.

He arched his brow at the sound of a familiar crying out to him. He pulls himself from the ground dragging his feet to his desk. Picking up his phone, he scans through the short text message. "A party?" He asks himself, speak of the devil. At first he couldn't care less about the party, but does he really want to stay in an empty house? With a shrug he read through the message once again taking note of the address. The screen blinks and vibrates making the male jump a bit. He reads over the message and smiles at the sender.

He chuckls slightly walking out. He walked over to the room across his knocking at the wooden surface of the door. "Hey Matt?" He called out to his friend--if he was there. "You're going to the party later right?" He looks over at his phone again. Though he and Matthew have been best friends since god knows when, he still couldn't come out of his shell--fully at least.
