It was late the next time Svean awoke. he clutched his head groaning and looked out the window. It was sundown and he could see some people walking around. He lay back on the bed and groaned. Damn his head hurt.
"Svean get up!" a commanding voice ordered and Svean squinted his eyes.
"Who's that?"
"Maytrum. We've caught the leader to your society so we'll let you go free and all the other members. Without your leader the society can't breath and you will be forced into our treatment." said Maytrum triumphantly.
"Our leader?" Svean whimpered nervously. "You meant they turned themselves in?"
"Crow? Turn himself in? No. Ally told me who he was." cackled Maytrum and Svean leapt up.
"NO! I'm the leader! Not Crow! Let him go! He'd have gotten out soon!" he demanded but Maytrum laughed.
"I knew you knew who the leader was, Svean, but no matter what I know without a doubt Crow is the leader. All of my spies have witnessed that he attended every meeting and he recruited a majority of the new members. Everything points to him." smirked Maytrum. "Now leave. You are free to go." she waved him away and went to the next room. he stood there trembling and glared around him. "I'm the leader. I did the same things Crow did. How did you catch the wrong person?" he passed Ally on his way out.
"Svean!" she cried happily clinging to his arm.
"If you don't let me go right now I'll break your arm." he growled and she released him.
"What's wrong?"
"You turned me in yet everyone thinks Crow is the leader. Then I hear you turned him in too."
"It was for you Svean." she whimpered.
"You would turn me in for your freedom. Just go get your freedom and never see me again." he glared. "I don't like you." he said coldly and walked to his room. Whatever they hit him in the head with he would have to set up a new meeting tomorrow because he was too tired and hurt to figure it out tonight.
