Arabella and Lilith were hanging out alone. Lilith had won their game of rock, paper, scissors so she got to decide what the two of them would do and she choose solidarity.

While watching the clouds pass by above her, Ara caught sight of Dawn flying over her head. She sighed, how could these people lock up someone who was so clearly meant to be free. “Lilith. Look at Dawn. She always looks so peaceful when she flying, how do you think she manages it when she is all alone within this Zoo?” She asked to her sister.
Lilith who was more than happy to keep to herself today reluctantly turned around to give Ara a look of utter disbelief. “I don’t believe you. You and Dawn or almost exactly alike in that regard. It’s like how you look when your swimming with no audience staring at you.” Lilith said already losing patience with this conversation like she so often did with Ara.
“I do not get a ‘look!’” Ara huffed to her sister before turning her attention away from Dawn.

After a few moments Ridley passed by the sisters on her way back to her cage giving them a wave and a ‘hi.’
“See ya’ round Ridley.” Ara said loudly and confidently.
“Hey.” Lilith’s greeting for the girl paled in comparison and hinted at an undertone of distrust and dislike.
Ara kept up her smile until Ridley was out of sight and earshot before snapping at her sister.
“Would it kill you to be nice Lilith!” Ara said, annoyed that her sister always did this and made people ignore Ara aswel.
“I was ‘nice.’” Lilith deadpanned back to her sister not wanting to start a fight on something stupid as how much enthusiasm she greeted people with.
“Bullshit.” Ara replied angrily before continuing with a more playful and sarcastic tone. “Your just pissy that Ridley’s venom actually kills people, while yours only gives people a mild fever for a few days.”

Lilith deciding to be the one to take the high road chose not to respond to her sister’s taunts and turned away from the conversation. Her gaze landed on Salem who was jogging through the zoo, it didn’t take long for Ara to join in on this too though seeming as Ara never found her own life interesting enough.
“Salem huh? Well, I suppose he is good looking, athletic and quite friendly, but he seems almost the opposite of you, more like me if anything. Besides Lilith, he hates snakes, you don’t have a chance.” Ara said into Lilith’s ear with a grin. She knew her sister didn’t actually like Salem, mostly because she would be hard pressed to find anyone her sister did like but she was feeling a little annoyed her sister wasn’t affected by her taunt.
Lilith rolled her eyes Ara always got like this eventually, Lilith like to think of it as pettiness but it was different then that. “Oh, no, how on earth will I survive if the one I love doesn’t love be back.” Hissed Lilith into Ara’s ear before taking their life into her own hands and stomping off to their cage. “Might as well get moving now before The Owner comes and makes us move.” Lilith said lightly over her shoulder. As much as she complained about socializing and all that she didn’t hate the time being outside her cage. Neither did she hate being in her cage, she wasn't alone like the others though. She would never admit it but she was grateful she had Ara with her, they balanced each other out in some screwed up way.
