Veloth briefly struggled to see if he could defy the field created by Kalessi but it was only after his first push that he knew it would be pointless and his thoughts were instantly confirmed by Kalessi's ultimatum and he knew that he had met someone he never had a chance against as he was now. Veloth had to mentally beat down his pride and his desire to continue the conflict which he believed could make him more capable in his ability because he knew that Formal did not say threats vainly especially one of the Vanguards and as he came slowly to terms with his situation the words came out "I...surrender to your authority...just don't punish my father its my fault he hasn't turned me in years ago." Veloth's head slumped forward in shame at having to beg mercy but for his father he was willing to accept and the words that came after he couldn't hold back as Veloths eyes briefly glowed a deep blood red "But if you harm him then I will fight until my body is falling apart with my hands griping somebodies neck and watching as they wither to death"

The adrenaline of his rage at his father being attacked and the thrill of the fight was fading and he could now feel the slight throbbing in his leg and arm muscles all crying out in pain. Veloth gave a mental sigh of relief that he was an anex and that these wounds would last only a few days before he would be again at his peak physical condition but for now he knew he was likely to be in for quite a beating from the formals before all of this was over. Veloth gripped his right arm as he waited for whatever was going to happen to him.
