Darius couldn’t help but laugh as he smiled at the girl. He said with a small shake of his head. “Well I’m not from where you’re from, if I need a motive then why can’t it be the pleasure of your company? Or perhaps it’s that I want your sister to owe me one. Either one you can pick but I do suggest we move away from here.”

Darius let his hand drop as he stepped around the two guys and moved down the hallway a little, he’d already interfered enough and it was really her chose about coming or not. She seemed suspicious of him, which hinted at the fact that she was probably not a very trusting person. Understandable considering the darker side of things that Darius was aware of. He also knew though that trusting people was something that you had to do sometimes; you couldn’t do things on your own after all. The truth was that a part of Darius wanted Brylen to owe him, she was a spirit user after all and she could bring wini back from the monster she had become.

Darius had only taken a single step down the hallway when he felt his phone vibrate again, he wondered who it was as he fished it out of his pocket. He glanced at the message and saw that it was from Brylen. His first thought was that she had already gotten down to the gate before him but when he saw the message he couldn’t help but frown. It seemed as though things were evolving rapidly, it was unusual to shift from one plan to another so quickly but he couldn’t help but shrug. He tried to plan out his day ahead of time but Brylen was more a seat of your pants type of girl.

He turned back around and looked at Raven again. He said with a small smile on his face as he pulled his car keys into his hand. “seems dinner is canceled and your sister is planning a party that everyone is going to be at. So if you wish I can give you a ride there.” With that said Darius turned around and headed towards the main doors. His thunderbird would be waiting right outside of them. He didn’t wait for an answer as he headed towards the car and got in. It was her choice and the best treatment right now was for her to simply make one. He wouldn’t be able to win her trust quickly enough that a talk would do. Sometimes tough love is the best medicine after all.
