Kurosu grinned as he let Yukari get farther ahead of him. After he was sure she believed he wouldn't catch up to her he activated the thunder god technique and teleported to a seal that was placed further in the direction they were traveling. He leaned back against the tree trunk on the branch and waited for her to show up a minute later and smiled wider. "I thought you said you could keep up?" He asked as he fell out of the tree and landed beside her at a dead sprint and tagged her. "You're it..." He said as he disappeared and moved at lightning speed up the trail. As much as he was enjoying the fun of a game of tag as they raced to Konoha the gravity of the situation had not escaped him at all, someone had tried killing him and he would find out why.
