The binding of the book opened with a crisp sound. The words, at first, appeared to be swirling about the page in an ancient text. However, with work he was able to begin to understand a few things. For someone who hadn't touched a book in a long time, he only struggled with the scientific words once he had picked up on the shapes of the letters and their sounds. He had just gotten very excited over the fact he was speaking in complete sentences before she pushed the book away.

As she placed her hand on his face to smooth away a stray lock of black hair, he stared curiously into her sky blue eyes trying to figure exactly what she was trying to do next. Instead of saying something, she put her mouth to his. As she pulled away, so had he. Putting fingers to his lips he tapped at them--attempting to feel a reason why they were suddenly heated or why he was still trying to lean nearer while at the same time pulling away.

"Was a kiss too?" Oliver asked in a shaken voice. He needed some sort of clarification. If this was the same as the kiss to the forehead, he was definitely beginning to like this kiss concept.
