Razeluxe waited patiently (and quietly) as the phone rang. If Hotaru didn't pick up, he'd not really mind. Had it just been him and Asako, it'd still be a good day. Who would complain about spending a day doing things with a cute girl? Not him, not at all. But, if she did pick up, he'd have an energetic little girl. A little bit annoying, yes, but he was used to kids, so it isn't like he dislikes her.

The answer to whether or not him and Asako were going alone was answered by a loud squeak of a voice from Hotaru followed by the clinging to his arm by the same producer of the voice. She seemed a bit too friendly for somebody she had only met briefly earlier today. He wasn't someone somebody wouldn't want to befriend and she needn't worry, but.... he didn't want her to do that with somebody who'd possibly take 'advantage' of her. That'd be unpreferable and sad.

She seemed to be even more excited that earlier, suggesting that they investigate a murder in a field or something. It evoked a light laugh from Razeluxe, who was feeling just a bit more lively from her own excitedness. He shook his head before talking. "Hello..." he paused. He never learned her surname. God, what an idiot! He frowned. "I'm sorry, Hotaru-chan... I never asked your surname," he admitted. "Forgive me; I'm more American than Japanese at heart, and they don't use honorifics there... at least not anywhere near as common as here," he explained.
