Cora's heart thudded painfully in her chest as the girl smiled, a real smile that made Corrina's knees want to give out.She's so pretty.. Cora went back to focesing on her feet, or rather her shoes, or rather, the ground under her shoes. She wasn't used to feeling like this around someone, it was a strange feeling, like all she wanted to do for the girl was please her, no matter what.
The girl reached out, and with a soft touch she lifted her chin up. Cora was now looking into her eyes as the girls thumb slightly moved against her cheek bone “I am the Etoile of Hillside Academy, my name is Skye Freitas… most are only allowed to call me Etoile… but you my dear Cora can call me Skye” her voice was soft and Cora's eyes widened, was she... “It’s a pleasure to meet someone so…” Skye moved her head in so her mouth was close to Cora’s right ear making her feel light headed “as pretty as you”.
Skye smirked and moved her head back, her hand slowly dragging away from Cora’s chin. "I..I um..You..pretty?" Cora blinked a few times, did she just call her pretty? No one have ever called her pretty before, not even her own mother. This girl she had just met thought she was pretty? That was..so..Nice..no that wasn't the right word..was it? But i'm not pretty.. she wanted to say, but she couldn't she just couldn't through. Should she say thank you? Was the girl just messing around with her??
Is this just a joke? It had to be right? just some messed up joke, were all the girls like this? There was no way this was just a joke right? Why am I being like this?? The girl just called you pretty, don't be all weird about it, you should not be weird about it, smile nod, and complement her back...Well you cant really out right say that you think she's beautiful right?
