Alex walked through the main hall of the academy on his way to the dorms. Unlike many of the students here, Alex was a transfer student from a similar academy in America. He had transfered because he had proved more adept with his powers than his peers, and the academy here was supposedly more challenging. Alex was new, had no connections to the school, and a fresh chance to make a reputation. Alex was in his social element. Alex climbed the stairs to the boy's dorm, unlocked the door to his room, and began to unpack. "New school, new friends, new life" he muttered. "Time to get started."
