Darc nodded and listened to Shirin's plan. Well, it was better than anything else, though he couldn't say he was a big fan of the ocean (probably because he couldn't swim but...). So, he watched as the angel flew upwards and landed on a tree before scouting out the area ahead. When she came down, she told him of the two hour walk they were going to have to make and Darc simply sighed. He was used to long walks.

So, he turned to the group that hadn't already set out south and spoke. "Come on, you heard the woman," he told them and without waiting for the others, turned and started south and begun the two hour long walk. However, as he began to go off, his hand-as if it was a natural action-grabbed Shirin's soft, smaller hand as he led her towards the shacks.

He failed to notice he did this.
