Oliver Jumped a little when his name was called and his eyes widened a little as he slowly turned around and looked to see who it was calling him. He hoped it was no one scary... and he was right! "O-oh, hi Rose!" He called back with a grin, stopping in his path and waiting for her to catch up. Oliver was rather fond of Rose. For one thing, Rose was one of the only other kid on the island. Sure, there were some that really acted like kids, but none of them were actually kids. Aside from Rose. But, apart from that, they did have a lot in common. The other day when it was raining outside, they both got frightened and went darting inside, faster than a bullet. They ended up trying to comfort each other, trying to take their minds off the rain, and then ended up not being frightened at all. And, actually having fun.
Oliver looked rather concerned when she was panting for breath, though just as he was about to question it, she stood up straight again, seemingly unharmed. He relaxed slightly, before she asked about the little tune he was singing. He tilted his head slightly and blinked a couple of times. He didn't even realise he was singing it. He was just kinda... doing it. "I... I don't know..." He frowned a little and then looked back up to Rose, quickly replacing it with a grin. "Are you okay Rose? You didn't have to run after me like that. You wanna get something to eat? Or do you wanna hang out somewhere? It doesn't look like it's going to be raining today. S'probably gornna be really nice out. Or we can do something inside? I mean, there might be a movie we can see or something?" He tilted his head side to side as he questioned her. He didn't quite take in that he was firing questions at her like she was in a courtroom. He was just very curious as to what she wanted to do. It was insightful to see the kinds of things she enjoyed.
