Emily was delighted by Janelle's enthusiasm. It's nice to know that there's someone in the guild she can relate to. She nodded when Janelle thanked her for the way she treated Fedo, not that it was a big deal to Em. She was used to all manner of beasts. When Janelle mentioned how long she'd been doing light magic Emily laughed awkwardly and rubbed the back of her head.

"I haven't been at it nearly as long. I've only been practicing for two years, and I still have a long way to go. That's why I joined. To make money and advance in my training. I think it's awesome that you set out on your own! My parents kinda wanted me to strike out on my own. It was really hard on me and I really didn't want to do it. But, that's the way things go right?" Emily smiled at Janelle and then looked up to the sky.

"It sure is a nice day... Say, how do you feel about the sun?"

Emily didn't really know why she asked the question. She tended to get a bit philosophical at random times, especially when mentioning her family.
