Peyton grabbed a tea bag and submerged it in hot water. 'Earl grey' she smiled 'Other than a hit, this is the best thing about the morning' she thought.
Many people lived in Mara's house. In fact, there were too many people residing there for it to be "legal": Peyton, Mara, Jason, Mark, Max, Indiana, Alexander, and Missy. Peyton didn't mind, she was actually quite happy with the arrangement. There was never a dull moment, and she liked to be surrounded by people. She headed back up to the room she shared with Mara and plopped back down on the bed. Mara was already changed and ready for the party as well. "Plan on bringing the winner home with you?" Peyton joked. "I just want to know ahead of time so I don't intrude." she winked "Unless he's into that kind of thing" a smirk slid onto her face and Mara rolled her eyes but responded "Probably" she winked back. "I do like my guys built for speed." they both laughed. Peyton pulled the baggie of cocaine out of her bra and handed it to Mara. "Wanna hit?" she asked smoothly. Mara nodded and pulled her nightstand in front of her. Peyton dumped some powder onto the flat surface and handed her a dollar bill. Mara rolled it up and snorted it in one swift motion. "NOW we're ready"
Mara pulled out her keys and smiled. Peyton looked at her with a curious expression on her face "Those aren't your keys..." Mara laughed lightly and responded "I have some connections...so yes... they ARE my keys. While you were half naked and dancing around last night I was chatting up some idiotic guy and convinced him to nab a vanquish for me. I expected him to laugh in my face...but here I am...with keys to an Aston Martin Vanquish. I mean...the guy was nowhere near the level of Jessie Salvatore but I'm forever grateful" she said over dramatically. "Jessie Salvatore?" Peyton asked. "How have I never heard of this master thief?" she raised an eyebrow. [i]"I honestly don't know, but he's going to be in the race tonight...and i'm hoping he wins" she smirked "I'd like to get me some of that" they both laughed again and headed out to her car.
As they got out they could already see a crowd of people and quite a few nice cars parked along the road. Jason opened Peyton's door and helped her out like a gentlemen. Mara, Mark, Jason, and Peyton all headed over to the scene and found themselves a good spot to watch...right next to the winners circle.
