With his feet firmly planted on the ground, Cam found himself analyzing the reactions of those around him. He could only assume that the silence in the meadow meant that they were all processing Ganymede's words. Most seemed lost in their own thoughts and he vaguely wondered what they honestly thought of the situation. At present, he was one of the few standing - his arm still extended for the fallen girl to take. The white haired male's hand kept the angered male a safe distance away from the girl and Cam found himself calculating just how long it would take for this all to take an ugly turn. The amount of testosterone levels being emitted from the glowering male should have given the other teen an indication of what was to come but, to Cam's surprise, he didn't falter. This guy is either very brave or very stupid. He was thoroughly anticipating their next moves when a female voice spoke up. Cam's gaze instantly went to the speaker of the voice and found himself looking at a dark haired teenager. She looked to be their age as well and, if he remembered correctly, she was supposed to be Athena's Champion. The confidence that radiated from her as she spoke told him that the goddess - if he was allowing himself to believe all this - had an influence behind her newfound glow. He may have been preoccupied with his cell phone earlier but he wasn't completely careless. He had expected her to be timid and soft spoken; the exact opposite of what was before him.

Cam watched with thinly veiled amusement as she walked past him and toward another girl. He contemplated her words but found himself a little disappointed. Like everyone else, she didn't have any basis as to why she believed everything Ganymede had said. No one seemed to. All they were relying on was their gut instincts. A part of him wanted to believe their words; yet, the rational part of his mind wouldn't budge. There was no historical evidence to support this. Could they really trust a suspicious boy in Greek attire? He had so absorbed in his thoughts that he was caught off guard - for the second time today - when one of the guys stepped back. Cam noted that it was the more reasonable of the two and his eyes looked toward the other warily. That guy was just itching for a fight and, if the white haired male wasn't going to give it to him, he wasn't about to volunteer. He could take on the screaming kid with horns for all he cared.

Stick together? What was he thinking? This isn't some group activity we signed up for. The previous hints of amusement vanished from his face as soon as it had appeared. "I hate to break it to you, man. But I'm not really a team player. No offense or anything," he stated as he pinched the bridge of his nose. Cam didn't play well with others - never had and never well. Even when he was surrounded by longtime friends, he was used to looking out for himself. Every man for himself was a motto that he lived by. In a sense, it explained a lot about why he never stuck around one place or one person often. Cam preferred to do things his way and was always brainstorming the easiest ways out. After all, there was always two ways to approach and solve a situation - at the very least. When Ganymede offered to provide each of them with clothes, Cam glanced down at his own. They were tattered and torn in certain areas, with pieces of cloth stained in a murky red color. He almost took the god up on his offer - until he saw the alternative to the clothes he was wearing now. While the toga looked comfy and inviting, Cam didn't want to assert the team idea any more than it already had been asserted. Matching clothes would just reinforce the idea that they were all in this together and, last time he checked, they were not on the set of High School Musical.

"I'll pass. Maybe later," he mumbled in response. Right now, he would much rather be caught in his birthday suit. Feeling a pull on the arm, Cam's attention shifted to the fallen girl. A lighthearted smile spread on his lips as she had accepted his offer to help her out. While his appearance was one of ease, he was thoroughly confused. It was strange. He had held hands with girls before and he had anticipated the heat from their bodies but he hadn't anticipated the almost electric shock that spread from his fingertips to the entire length of his arm. Cam was just about to ask if she felt the sudden sensation as well when he noticed her wince ever so slightly. In fact, if he hadn't been so focused on her right now then he was sure he would have missed it. "Are you ok?"

Cam was just about to check for any injuries or bruising when she dropped their joined hands and ran to the other boy. By her reaction and close proximity to the guy, Cam deduced that they knew one another quite well. He would even jump to conclusions and say that they were in a relationship. As she introduced them and extended her hand out for anyone to shake, Cam watched silently as the guy - Luke, apparently - charged toward Ganymede and threatened him. His recent composure gave way as he let out a low chuckle. He had anticipated an outburst from the guy and he had finally done it. Cam only wished that Ganymede reacted in a more comical manner.

Rubbing the back of his neck when he realized he had attracted more attention to himself, he shrugged. "Since we're doing introductions, I'm Cam." He might as well give them his name. He might not have had any intention of working together with these people but he didn't feel like being addressed as that guy or anything like that for however long they would be stuck with each other.
