As he saw it, if she truly wanted him to know something she'd tell him and that was that. " Yeah they were looking at the car a bit funny," he replied as they were driving, "and I really wouldn't like having to compete with the guys there for your attention." As he also hopped out of the car, " So going out on on the boat is much better, lets me keep you all to myself." He knew he sounded incredibly selfish, probably even childish but that was his honest opinion.
