But," He grinned at her, knowing he didn't have much choice. "I'm curios as to why you're so damned familiar to me, and I have a lot of other questions, but those can wait." He walked past her, in the direction she had been heading, in the first place. "Well? Are we going to this Nevermore? Or not? Because I don't like waiting. I don't like a lot of things, come to think of it."
"What'd you say your name was? Serenity? C'mon, let's get a move on already we--" He stopped, a slight look of shock on his face. He then sighed once agian, this time sounding exasperated. "I never did actually tell you my name...I guess I shouldn't be surprised, right?"

Serenity grinned at him.

"I told you, I've been around for a long time, and your my responsibility." She said as she turned down an alley. She closed her eyes once more, and pictured the door to her home, the door to Nevermore. She opened her eyes and a red door. She produced a key, unlocked it, and opened the door.

"give me your hand" she said as sh held out her pale, almost frail, hand.

"The trip between worlds can be painful, disroientng, and nauseating for new travelers." she said as a way of explaination
