Zechariah slipped under the sheets after Ash did, resting his head on a pillow when he took his glasses off. Everything further away from him than a few feet was a blur, yet he could see Ash just fine. Looking up at the ceiling, he tried to figure out what to say. The young man decided it was best to try and lighten the mood. "The neighbors in this house seem friendly enough. Sure, there are some obstacles and difficulties here, but we can pull through. I have no doubt about that." All of a sudden, he realized he did not feel awkward laying beside her, yet could not find out why. Either way, he shook it off, at the moment, focusing on trying to cheer her up.
