Kimberly had already arrived at the apartment they'd provided for her. She wasn't up to sharing with people at the moment but it was what had to be done. She wanted to be with people but not these people. Mr Jeffereson, her doctor had looked after her from the time she'd entered rehab to now, had told her about her roomates. But she tried to ignore it and remember her doctor, he was a nice man. He'd killed his sister, so he knew what it was like - all the publicity and jail sentence. But he'd learnt to live with that and decided to get a job to help people like himself - like Kim.
She thought about her classes. It was well past her rehab time now. She tried to smile remembering what happened in them-they lasted at least half an hour on Thursdays' and on Tuesday's-an hour. She had met a few freaks like herself, but she knew that she'd never met up with them. One had committed a suicidal attempt and the other two still attended those classes. One had been on a drup overdose and nearly killed himself and the other had been a real anger management type dude. Well, they at least accepted her, knew what she'd done, but made friends with her - not like these protestors that stood out side her window.
She didn't want to stay here. A bunch of signs were held up by middle-aged people all in the front row of the gathering. She tried to smile but they just got angrier, like Kim was going to lunge out the window with a gun in her hand and shoot bullets through their thick skulls.
But no she wasn't like that, she didn't belong in a hell hole like this! She was normal, she never killed anyone. She just couldn't made herself believe this. Although she hated people, she would never kill them for it!
She closed the curtain in their faces. And tried to act as if it was some normal camp. Without normal kids or instructors or activities or anything...But she just tried to believe in it.
Kimberly had heard voices. She knew then, while waiting in the center of her compressed room, that they were here. Her fellow mates - her fellow murderers. "I wonder what they think about this. My...friends. I wonder what those protestors think. About having us all locked in an apartment together - they probably think we're planning our next kill..Well not me. Whatever they think - I'm definately as hell not going to follow them," Kimberly muttered to herself. Although she was locked here. She wasn't crazy. She hadn't heard her voice in a long time - being trapped in a cell with no one to talk to but yourself, well you kind of get used to the pain of knowing that you're stuck in there with no others to help you escape, so the only thing you can do is talk to yourself.
She nodded at herself thinking about how much sense it made.
Kim hated the others, she didn't want to be around them and they knew she hated them. Well at least she hoped they did. So she wouldn't have to tell it to their faces and then they try to kill her. No, she didn't want that.
But she did know was that...life was so not fair.
